A blog is a section of a website, or it can be a whole website of it’s own, that is used to publish news, opinions and articles that relate to a companies products and services.
Blogs are extremely important for providing your target markets and customers with the latest information designed to influence them towards a positive buying decision. You can publish any content that you like. Successful business blogs often include copies of promotional videos, Powerpoint presentations after they have been presented at conferences etc
Blogs are also an extremely useful tool for improving the search engine rankings (SEO) of your website. But, I think it’s important to take heed of this quote from Google’s own guide to Search Engine Optimisation.
