Version 1 – An avatar is the graphical representation of a product, brand or person within a social media profile, online forum or other form of digital presence.

Version 2 – An avatar is the descriptive representation of a customer. Phrases such as ‘buyer persona’, ‘target market’ and ‘customer avatar’ all relate to a fictional representation of a business or individual. The customer avatar will include information such as demographics and psychographics. The creation of this type of customer profile will enable your marketing to be more tightly targeted to the relevant audiences.
